The all-new Hideaway neighborhood is the smallest neighborhood on Icon of the Seas but it is one that you absolutely do not want to miss! Located at the aft (back) of the ship on deck 15, The Hideaway features the first ever suspended infinity pool at sea with amazing views directly off the back of the biggest ship at sea and will feature a few options never before seen on Royal Caribbean. For example, the Hideaway Pool will feature in-water daybeds as well as ocean view daybeds that can be rented by cruisers for the day.
In Pool Daybeds
The Hideaway Pool will feature three in-pool daybeds that can be rented by for the day. When you rent one of these daybeds for the day it will include: chilled champagne, bottled water, four pool towels and a large tray for your personal items. It appears that these daybeds can be rented through your cruise planner on Royal Caribbean's website and my guess is they'll go quickly so if you'd like one it's best to rent one as soon as possible!
Ocean View Daybeds
The port (left) side of Hideaway Bay will feature multiple ocean view daybeds that can also be rented by the day. These daybeds accommodate up to four passengers and include a bottle of champagne, a souvenir champagne glass, 4 pool towels, 4 bottles of water, a side table for your personal items and dedicated beverage service. You can use your drink package to purchase more drinks and minors can substitute complementary mocktails for the champagne bottle.
Pricing for Daybeds at The Hideaway
Royal Caribbean uses a dynamic pricing model, which means that prices can change based on supply/demand and other factors but when we checked the prices for the daybeds on multiple cruise dates they appeared to be the same across the board:
In Pool Daybed on Sea Days: $350.00
In Pool Daybed on Port Days: $250.00
Ocean View Daybed Sea Days: $300.00
Ocean View Daybed Port Days: $200.00
No matter how you choose to enjoy your time at The Hideaway, you'll enjoy music spun by the neighborhood's resident DJ and the champagne-inspired drinks that are featured at the Hideaway Bar located on the starboard (right)side of the pool, with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy your drink while you watch the ocean pass you by.
