Royal Caribbean has done it again! Hideaway Beach, reserved for adults only, will open in January 2024 on CocoCay! Given that we have a cruise in February of 2024 I am even more excited. Read on to learn everything we know about the new Hideaway Beach on Royal Caribbean's private island!
Hideaway Beach: Located at the northwest beach of Perfect Day at CocoCay, Hideaway Beach will be reserved for cruisers 18 years and older and will require an fee to use. It will include a private beach, two pools, 20 cabanas, and seven open-air bars and places to eat while you enjoy your day at Hideaway Beach! The beach itself will have plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas along with in-water hammocks and swings.
The Hideaway Pool: If you're ready for an adults-only party, the Hideaway Pool is where you'll find it! DJ's will be rocking the tunes all day long and the pool has its own swim-up bar and in-pool seating as well as plenty of loungers around the pool to relax while you enjoy a drink or snack. The Hideaway pool will be heated so guests of Royal Caribbean can enjoy it all year long!
The Hideaway Cabanas: Hideaway Beach will feature 10 of these cabanas just steps away from the party. Cruisers who rent a Hideaway Cabana will enjoy extra amenities including a cabana attendant, a mini refrigerator, the use of floating beach mats and charging outlets so you can keep your phone charged up for all the amazing photo-ops you'll have! In my experience, prices vary on these depending on the sailing but for our cruise in February, the Hideaway Cabanas are currently available for $1,499.00 per cabana and that would allow up to 8 guests (you can add 2 more guests for an additional $50 per guest). Like with all other cabanas at CocoCay you may want to reserve yours early as they often sell out months before the cruise!
The Hideout: If you're looking for a more relaxed private experience during your Perfect Day at CocoCay, the Hideout Cabanas may be just what the doctor ordered. Hideaway Beach will feature 10 of these luxury cabanas as well. They'll put you a little ways away from all of the action so you can get away from noise for a little rest and relaxation. Hideout guests will also enjoy access to a private heated pool reserved only for guests of the Hideout cabanas as well as in-water loungers, outdoor showers, bluetooth speakers, a cooler, sink, mini-refrigerator, charging outlets, a ceiling fan an a private storage space where you can lock your valuables while you're away from your cabana. You'll have your own cabana attendant as well. For my cruise in February of 2024, these cabanas are priced at $2,299.00 for up to 8 guests. Like with the other cabanas, two additional guests can be added for $50.00 each.
Eating & Drinking at Hideaway Beach
No Perfect Day at CocoCay would be complete without plenty of options for food and drinks and the options planned for Hideaway Beach will not disappoint! On the Rocks Bar will be located along the shore and will feature live musicians, TV's for guests who want to watch sports & more all while you enjoy stunning views and refreshing drinks. The Hideaway Bar is the name of the swim-up bar in the main pool. The Hideaway Bar will feature two levels and bartenders will be serving up your favorite drinks all day long! When you get hungry you'll find plenty to satisfy any craving the following options:
Slice of Paradise: A rustic pizza spot which will also feature a full bar.
Snack Shack: If you've been to CocoCay before you've probably already eaten at the Snack Shack. Guests of Hideaway Beach will have access to their own Snack Shack for menu items like chicken sandwiches, burgers, mozzerella sticks, fresh salads and more!
Beach Bars: Guests of Hideaway Beach will also find two separate beach bars, one on each side of the beach, so a fresh drink is never too far away!
For my sailing, a entrance to Hideaway Beach is just $61.99 per guest if purchased online prior to sailing and $69.00 per guest if purchased onboard the ship. Keep in mind that if you purchase a cabana rental for the day that they will include your entry into Hideaway Beach!
Important to Note: If you purchase the drink package you will also be able to use it anywhere on the island. If you haven't purchased a drink package, you can purchase individual drinks just as you would onboard the ship!
