If you're planning to set sail on the Grandeur of the Seas, one of the decisions you'll have to make is what type of stateroom you want. When it comes to accommodations, this Royal Caribbean ship offers a variety of stateroom types to suit every traveler's preferences and needs. In this blog post, we'll take a closer look at the different stateroom categories available on the Grandeur of the Seas, ensuring you make the perfect choice for your cruise adventure.
Inside Stateroom
Inside staterooms are the most budget friendly staterooms on any cruise ship as they are located on the interior of the ship and do not feature a porthole or window. These staterooms are also smaller than any of the other stateroom option aboard the ship however they can be a great option for cruisers that want to save money on a room, especially if you don't spend much of your vacation in your room! The upside to not having a window is these interior staterooms stay really dark, which is sort of nice for travelers who enjoy sleeping in! Here are the key statistics for the interior staterooms on Grandeur of the Seas
Number of Staterooms: 400
Max Passengers per Stateroom: 2 - 4
Cabin Size: 140 square feet
Decks with Interior Staterooms: 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8
Oceanview Staterooms
Oceanview staterooms on Royal Caribbean's Grandeur of the Seas are also a fairly budget-friendly option but give you the advantage of having a porthole or window so you can see the ocean and get some natural light in your room. These are ideal for cruisers who want to get a good deal while having a bit more space and a view of the outside world while in their room. They are also slightly larger than the interior staterooms but are laid out basically the same. Based on a recent search of cruises on Grandeur of the Seas an oceanview stateroom will cost you anywhere between $50 - $200 more per person. Here are some key facts about the oceanview staterooms on Grandeur of the Seas:
Number of Staterooms: 380
Max Passengers per Stateroom: 2 - 4
Cabin Size: 150 - 200 square feet
Decks with Oceanview Staterooms: 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8
Spacious Oceanview with Balcony
Staterooms with balconies are by far my favorite stateroom to book and what we generally choose for our own cruises. I do enjoy decompressing in my room and enjoy the solitude I get from having a private balcony to relax on as I watch the ocean go by. Also, there is nothing better, in my opinion, than enjoying breakfast and a cup of coffee on the balcony. In addition to having a balcony, these staterooms are larger than the oceanview staterooms so you'll have more room inside for lounging as well. Generally speaking, balcony staterooms on Grandeur of the Seas cost from $200 - $700+ per person more than oceanview staterooms. Here are a few key facts about oceanview staterooms:
Number of Staterooms: 122
Max Passengers per Stateroom: 2 - 4
Cabin Size: 190 square feet & a 40 square foot balcony
Decks with Balcony Staterooms: 7
Junior Suite (With Balcony)
The junior level suite on Grandeur of the Seas is the lowest suite class. I like to call it an entry-level suite. Junior suites are larger than balcony staterooms by about 50 square feet and the balconies are about 20 feet larger than the standard balconies but the junior suites do some with a few other perks that you won't get when staying in a standard balcony room but far less perks than you would get if you booked any of the other suites. Some of the perks you will receive include a SeaPass that is a different color than those in other classes of staterooms, bathrobes for use onboard, a Lavassa espresso machine in your room, luxury bathroom amenities and priority boarding. Those staying in junior staterooms will also receive 2 Crown & Anchor loyalty points vs. 1 per night of the cruise. Junior suites can cost anywhere from $300 - $1500+ per person than what you would pay for a standard balcony room. Keep in mind that Royal Caribbean follows a dynamic pricing model so pricing changes all the time based on numerous criteria. Read on for some key facts about Junior Suites on Grandeur of the Seas

If you are looking for luxury accommodations and a wide range of perks, a Grand Suite may be a perfect option for you. These spacious and elegant accommodations offer travelers a taste of the high life while sailing the high seas. In this overview, we'll delve into the world of Grand Suites on Royal Caribbean, exploring their features, amenities, and why they are a fantastic choice for those seeking a truly extraordinary cruise experience. You can learn more about the perks of booking a grand suite on Royal Caribbean here. Because of all the extra perks that suite guests enjoy these staterooms can be pretty pricey. Based on my recent searches, the Grand Suites start at about $3500 per person and can go up significantly from there. If you'd like to try a suite but don't want to pay list price, Royal Caribbean does have a program called Royal Up that allows guests to bid on staterooms that have not been purchased. This isn't a sure thing as you won't know when you book if any suites will be available or if you'll be this highest bidder but it's worth a try if the option becomes available! Following are some facts about the 1 bedroom grand suites:
Number of Staterooms: 12
Max Passengers per Stateroom: 4
Cabin Size: 350 square feet & a 110 square foot balcony
Decks with 1 Bedroom Grand Suites: 8
2 Bedroom Family Grand Suite
These suites are similar to the 1 bedroom grand suite they just feature a second bedroom so they are perfect for families that want a suite with a second bedroom giving everyone a little extra privacy. You'll enjoy all the same perks as you would in the 1 bedroom grand suite just with extra room in the suite. The balconies are actually smaller in the 2 bedroom grand suites due to the layout of the room. Following are some key facts about 2 bedroom family grand suites:
Number of Staterooms: 8
Max Passengers per Stateroom: 4
Cabin Size: 535 square feet & a 50 square foot balcony
Decks with 2 Bedroom Grand Suites: 8
1 Bedroom Owners Suite
The 1 Bedroom Owners Suite is a step up from the grand suites. They are larger than the 1 bedroom grand suites and can sleep 5 guests vs. the 4 guests than the 1 Bedroom Grand Suite will accommodate. They also feature a larger balcony. These suites feature a doorbell, marble entryway and 1 bathroom that has a tub/shower combo which is an appealing feature to many cruisers. Owners Suite guest will get the same perks as the the grand suite guests. Following are some important facts about these suites:
Number of Staterooms: 1
Max Passengers per Stateroom: 5
Cabin Size: 515 square feet & a 110 square foot balcony

1 Bedroom Royal Suite
This is THE best Suite available on Grandeur of the Seas and it's pretty darn amazing. Upon entering through the double doors you'll be greeted by a white baby grand piano sitting prominently in the middle of your living area. Speaking of the living area, it features a dining area with seating for four, a large sitting area and a wet bar. You can exit from the living area to your balcony which will have loungers and a dining table with seating for four. The bedroom is large as well and even has a walk-in closet. The bathroom may actually be the best part of the suite as it has a shower with two shower heads, double sinks and a large soaking tub. The toilet room is separate from the rest of the bathroom which is a nice feature as well. If you want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it (based on my searches they appear to start somewhere around $4000 per guest) this is the suite you want! Following are the important stats about the Royal Suite on Grandeur of the Seas:
Number of Staterooms: 1
Max Passengers per Stateroom: 5
Cabin Size: 1,325 square feet & a 130 square foot balcony
Decks with 2 Bedroom Grand Suites: 8
